WWE Fastlane in the month of Feb.2015

Fastlane is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WWE. It is scheduled to take place on February 22, 2015 at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee.[1] It will be the first WWE Fastlane event and will replace Elimination Chamber. The main event will be Roman Reigns defending his WrestleMania 31 main event status against Daniel Bryan.
Fastlane features professional wrestling matches that involved wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that play out on WWE's primary television programs, Raw and SmackDown. Wrestlers will portray faces (heroes) or heels (villains) as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.[2][3]
On the February 2nd episode of Raw, Roman Reigns was manipulated by The Authority to agree to defend his #1 contendership for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31 that he earned at the Royal Rumble in a match at Fastlane. Later that night, Daniel Bryan defeated Seth Rollins to earn the right to face Reigns at the event.[4]
During the Royal Rumble post-show, Rusev interrupted John Cena's interview and the two shoved each other. On January 26, it was announced on WWE.com that Rusev would defend his United States Championship against Cena at the event.[5]
On the January 29 episode of SmackDown, it was announced that Nikki Bella would defend her Divas Championship against Paige at the event.[6]
On November 23, during the main event of Survivor Series, Sting made his first-ever appearance in a WWE ring by attacking Triple Hwith a Scorpion Death Drop and also costing Team Authority the match. [7] On January 19, 2015, Sting made his Raw debut by appearing backstage during the main event, then walking to the stage causing a distraction and costing Authority members Big Show,Kane, and Rollins their handicap match against Cena; this win gave the recently-fired Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, and Erick Rowan their jobs back.[8] On January 26, it was officially announced via WWE.com that Triple H challenged Sting to a "face-to-face" confrontation at Fastlane.[5] On the February 9th edition ofRaw, Triple H again called Sting out to accept his challenge. A group of Sting followers appeared in and around the ring, with a titantron message to Triple H that Sting had accepted the challenge.[9]
